CAUTION

I had already took of my braces a month ago
I decided to share you guys how braces had changed me, nah actually it does not have too much differences compared with others
But I feel grateful to actually having braces on even it spent me so much money lol
I had braces since 24/3/2014 which is last year, this treatment spent about 1 and half year
Before that, I did not thought of putting on braces until I saw a picture of the side of me
By that time, I was in primary school. I was so ugly in that picture because of the bucktooth
When I went to secondary school, I begged my mom to bring me to the dentist for braces
We went to the government dentist for 4 times, I gave up and hoping one day I could have enough money to go for the private one so that it will not keep me waiting for so long
Finally, I have collected enough money in the year 2014
I was 17. I was sooooo happy that finally I can get rid of that buckteeth after 5 years

This is the photo that I took before getting braces on
You'll not see any differences in this kind of selfie and thought that my teeth was actually quite nice
But I can't even smile properly because of that buckteeth
The bottom part of my teeth was even worst than the top part

Removed 2 teeth on right side
As you can see in the last 2 pictures, my surgeon did not put brackets on a couple of tooth
This is because my teeth was too disorganized until she can't join the archwire to every single teeth
I only eat porridge for the first 5 days, I can't even chew
It's not as pain as many people thought, but what torture me is I CAN'T EAT SOLID FOOD

As what I said, I had removed 4 teeth so my dentist secured the elastic on the hook to close up the holes

This is the retainer for day, but I seldom put it on because I always need to eat HAHAHA
Mafan to take it out every time
Btw, this is only for my top row of teeth
I have the fixed retainer inside my bottom part of teeth
It can last for a lifetime

Just a further information if anyone is interested with my dental surgeon
I had my treatment with Dr. Lau in Sri Petaling
She's a very good surgeon I could say, I never trust a surgeon so much except her
Even I was sooooo scared to extract my wisdom tooth
I did not worry about anything because I truly trust her
